For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Canadian wildfire smoke persists today and tonight
amidst high pressure influence. The next weak low pressure
systems arrive Friday bringing a round of showers and
thunderstorms late in the day and overnight. This will be followed
by a secondary low on Saturday tracking across The Straits into
northern Lake Huron with additional unsettled weather.

...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT FRIDAY...

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots after midnight...then becoming light and variable early
in the morning. Smoke. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
in the late evening and overnight.
.FRIDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots in
the late morning and afternoon. Areas of smoke in the morning.
Patchy smoke in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the south
after midnight. A chance of showers in the evening...then showers
after midnight. Areas of smoke. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet after midnight.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots veering to the northwest with gusts to around 30 knots
early in the afternoon. A chance of showers. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming north
5 to 10 knots. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.SUNDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning becoming light
and variable...then becoming southwest 5 to 10 knots late in the
afternoon becoming south 10 to 15 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots by midnight. Showers
likely and a chance of thunderstorms until early evening. A
chance of showers by midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 5 to
7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots increasing to 30 knots
early in the evening...then decreasing to 20 to 25 knots by
midnight. Gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of showers. Waves 6 to
