For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 29.90 inches, will reside over the
region today. A deepening low pressure system then moves through
the southern Great Lakes late tonight into Sunday, passing south
of Lake Erie at around 29.60 inches Sunday afternoon. This system
ushers in an arctic air mass and gusty northwest flow through the
early week. The next arctic low drops into the northern Great
Lakes mid next week.

morning and early afternoon becoming light and variable. Waves
2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming northwest 5 to
10 knots after midnight...then veering to the north early in the
morning. A chance of snow after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to
20 knots early in the afternoon. A chance of snow. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow.
Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.MONDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 15 to
20 knots late in the afternoon...then becoming north 10 to
15 knots late in the evening. A chance of snow. Waves 3 to
5 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then backing
to the southwest until early morning. A chance of snow early in
the morning...then a chance of rain in the late morning and early
afternoon. Rain until early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales in the late morning and
early afternoon...then increasing to 30 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales early in the evening decreasing to 20 to 25 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots in the late evening and early
morning. Rain likely early in the morning...then rain. Waves 4 to
6 feet building to 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around
15 feet.
