For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure fills in this evening and Saturday. A strong cold
front and low pressure system, 29.20 inches, then track into the
Great Lakes early Sunday morning with a Gale Watch in effect for the
northern half of Lake Huron.

...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to
5 to 10 knots after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to
15 knots in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to
5 feet late in the afternoon.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
around 30 knots becoming south to 30 knots with gusts to 45 knot
gales. Showers and a chance of thunderstorms after midnight.
Waves 6 to 9 feet building to 12 to 16 feet after midnight. Waves
occasionally around 20 feet.
.SUNDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales
becoming west 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots in the
late morning and afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms
in the morning...then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves
10 to 14 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet early in the afternoon.
Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales. Showers likely. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots. A chance of showers late in the afternoon. Waves 6 to
9 feet subsiding to 4 to 6 feet late in the evening. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots until early evening...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the late evening and early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet until early morning.
