For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure passes over the Great Lakes today, then
exits into the Mid-Atlantic on Monday as a cold front reaches the
western Great Lakes. This front will pass across the region
Monday night into Tuesday.

.REST OF TODAY...Light and variable winds. Areas of smoke late in
the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots early in the afternoon. A chance of
showers in the morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to
6 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots. Showers. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.TUESDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots veering to the west with
gusts to around 30 knots late in the morning...then becoming
northwest to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales late in the
afternoon. Showers in the morning. A chance of showers late in
the morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet building to 10 to 14 feet late in
the afternoon. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots until early evening...then backing to the south by
midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.

gusts to 35 knot gales late in the evening. Showers. A chance of
thunderstorms late in the morning. Waves 5 to 7 feet building to
10 to 14 feet late in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around
18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots by midnight. Gusts to 30 knots. Waves 8 to 12 feet.
Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then backing
to the south . Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less .
