189 FZUS63 KDTX 141958 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 358 PM EDT Sun Jun 14 2026 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Breezy conditions return each afternoon early this week, but dry weather should prevail through at least Tuesday morning. The arrival of a low pressure system and it`s attendant cold front lead to showers and thunderstorms beginning Tuesday afternoon for the central waterways. A brief break in activity ensues Wednesday, followed by a secondary stronger system Wednesday night into Thursday. More intense convection is possible with the Wednesday night system.
