For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Canadian wildfire smoke persists today with high
pressure building back in. The next weak low pressure systems
arrive Friday bringing another round of showers and
thunderstorms, followed by a secondary low on Saturday.

...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT FRIDAY...

.REST OF TODAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Smoke. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet late in the afternoon.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots after midnight. Smoke in the evening...then areas of
smoke after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
after midnight.
.FRIDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Areas of smoke in the
morning. Patchy smoke in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Patchy smoke in the
evening. Showers likely in the evening...then showers after
midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots late in the morning...then veering to the northwest with
gusts to around 30 knots late in the afternoon becoming north
10 to 15 knots late in the evening. Showers likely in the
morning. A chance of showers late in the morning. Waves 3 to
5 feet building to 5 to 7 feet late in the afternoon. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots early in the morning
becoming light and variable...then becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots by midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots . A chance of showers
until early evening. Rain showers by midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet
building to 3 to 5 feet.
