For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.20 inches, drifts over the central
Great Lakes Friday. A cold front then brings showers and a few
thunderstorms to the region this weekend. A cooler airmass
settles over the Great Lakes late weekend into next week bringing
lake effect showers and waterspout chances.

.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots until late afternoon
becoming light and variable. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers
in the evening...then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after
midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the west
late in the afternoon. A chance of waterspouts. A chance of
thunderstorms. A chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet late in the afternoon.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots. A chance of showers. Waves 3 to
5 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales
early in the evening...then decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with
gusts to 35 knot gales in the late evening and early morning. A
chance of showers. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
