Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A high pressure ridge averaging 30.50 inches exits slowly eastward
before a weak warm front sweeps northward across Lake Erie
tonight. Behind the front, a ridge averaging 30.40 inches should
build from the southern Appalachians and vicinity through Friday
night. On Saturday through Sunday, a very weak cold front should
sweep eastward across Lake Erie. A low of 30.00 inches should
form along the front and move generally northward across Lake Erie
and vicinity during the same time period. Behind the front, another
ridge averaging 30.20 inches should build from the western Great
Lakes region through this Tuesday.
