Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
Lake Erie will be between high pressure 30.50 inches to the north
and a front to the south. High pressure will move east and the
front will lift north as a warm front tonight, as low pressure
29.50 inches develops over the central United States and moves
northeast toward the Great Lakes. This low will track through the
region on Monday and extend a cold front across the lake. High
pressure 30.20 inches will enter for Tuesday and slide east on
Wednesday. A warm front will cross the lake on Thursday.

.TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after
midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms late. Waves 2 to
4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots. Showers and thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet building
to 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southeast and
diminishing to 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet subsiding to

.WEDNESDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east. Waves
