The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Rapides Parish in central Louisiana...
  Northern Evangeline Parish in central Louisiana...
  Northeastern Allen Parish in southwestern Louisiana...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 849 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Beaver, or near Oakdale, moving northeast at 40
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Turkey Creek and Pine Prairie around 855 PM CDT.
  Bayou Chicot around 900 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include St.
Landry.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 43 and 45, and
between mile markers 55 and 64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and
protect yourself from flying debris.
