...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN EVANGELINE AND
CENTRAL ALLEN PARISHES THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 946 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bond, or 9 miles west of Mamou, moving west at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Oakdale, Oberlin, Mittie, Allen Parish Airport, Bond, and Harmony.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
