...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL RAPIDES PARISH
THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 640 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Alexandria International Airport, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Alexandria, Pineville, Alexandria International Airport, Ball,
Kingsville, Tioga, Timber Trails, Kolin, and Paradise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
