...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL LAFAYETTE...
EASTERN AVOYELLES...NORTHWESTERN ST. MARTIN AND ST. LANDRY PARISHES
THROUGH 330 AM CST...

At 306 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Opelousas, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bordelonville, Bayou Current, Opelousas, Port Barre, Goudeau, Prairie
Ronde, Hamburg, Washington, Lawtell, Arnaudville, Big Cane, Swords,
Melville, Dupont, Grand Coteau, Morrow, Grand Prairie, Palmetto,
Simmesport, and Sunset.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 5 and 36.
