...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISH
THROUGH 1115 PM CDT...

At 1047 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Grand Prairie, or 9 miles north of Opelousas, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bayou Current, Melville, Prairie Ronde, Palmetto, Grand Prairie,
Lebeau, Washington, Port Barre, and Opelousas.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 22 and 37.
