...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED...

* AFFECTED AREA: Southeast Texas, Central Louisiana, and Southwest
  Louisiana.

* TIMING: From 12PM Tuesday afternoon until 6PM Tuesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WIND: North-northeast to northeast at 5-10 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: As low as 25-35%.

* FUELS: Increasing drought across the region will continue to
  make smaller fuels available for burning. KBDI values range from
  around 550 to 750 area wide.

* IMPACTS: Weather conditions will be favorable for erratic
wildfire growth and spread.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires are
discouraged. Avoid parking vehicles or using welding or grinding
equipment near dry grass, brush, and weeds. Do not toss cigarette
butts on the ground.

Be sure to report wildfires quickly to the nearest fire
department or law enforcement office.
