Subject:Changes in Flood Stage Neches River at Evadale (EVDT2)




Effective August 27, 2025, the National Weather Service will change the flood stage for the
stream gage at Evadale on the Neches River. The new flood stage will be referenced in flood
warnings and flood statements. These upgraded hydrologic services resulted from field surveys
during recent flood events and discussions with local stakeholders.


Flood stage and categories will be adjusted as follows:
