For the following areas...
Atchafalaya and East Cote Blanche Bays...
Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
out 20 NM...

At 1044 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near South Marsh Island 239 to 8 nm west of Caillou
Bay, moving southeast at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

South Marsh Island 239, South Marsh Island 249, Eugene Island 57,
Eugene Island 24, South Marsh Island 268, Eugene Island 100, South
Marsh Island 236, Eugene Island 28, South Marsh Island 243,
Atchafalaya Bay, Eugene Island 63, Eugene Island 30, Eugene Island
74, Eugene Island 32, Eugene Island 42, and Eugene Island 53.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
