.DISCUSSION...

Typical afternoon coastal showers and isolated thunderstorms have
moved north out of Cameron parish. There remains a 10 percent or
less chance of rain near the event site through the rest of the
afternoon. If a thunderstorm develops near to the site, lightning
will be the primary hazard as strikes can occur well away from the
storm.

Southerly winds around 10 MPH will persist overnight. Daytime
showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop again quickly after
sunrise Friday.
