.DISCUSSION...
Fog will not be an issue this morning as winds increase mixing at the surface.
Smoke from the fire may be an issue early in the day as at 8 am as the mixing
height will be around 400 feet. By 10 am that height will have risen to over 1000
feet and by the afternoon will be around 4000 feet.
Lighter northwesterly winds are forecast to persist through Friday
with minimum RH values during the afternoons to range between 30-
40%. Precipitation chances return Saturday night into early Sunday
morning as an area of low pressure and another weak cold front push
through the area.
