Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
324 PM CDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Elevated winds are expected today and Sunday as the pressure
gradient tightens between high pressure to the east and an
approaching frontal system on Sunday. Rain chances return Sunday
morning from the northwest as the front approaches the area.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are then expected to
continue into Monday as the front sags into the area.
