...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Bayou Des Cannes near Eunice.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding begins along the bayou with
  a few structures right along the bayou threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CST Friday the stage was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 17.0 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oberlin.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CST Friday the stage was 10.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning to a crest of 13.5 feet early Monday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
