...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
  including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
  and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
  water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
  forested areas near the river will also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM CDT Monday was 12.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 4.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM CDT Monday was 4.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 4.1
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Red River near Alexandria.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Backwater flooding begins along Bayou
  Maria and Huffman Creeks east of Pineville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 34.0
    feet early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around
  Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying
  roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert
  Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff
  Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park.
  Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become
  flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM CDT Monday was 24.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 24.6 feet.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
