* WHERE...Atchafalaya River at Simmesport.

* WHEN...From Thursday, April 24 until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, There will be flooding of areas inside the
  levees of the atchafalaya floodway. Considerable flooding in the
  backwater storage area in Avoyelles Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.6 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Thursday, April 24.
  - Flood stage is 40.0 feet.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Atchafalaya River at Morgan City.

* WHEN...From Tuesday, April 15 until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Buildings at the foot of Ann Street on the
  river side of the flood wall will flood as water overtops the Rio
  Oil Company dock. Buildings on the river side of the Berwick
  floodwall will flood. River traffic restrictions will be strictly
  enforced. In addition, backwater flooding could potentially impact
  portions areas around Lake Palourde and Stephensville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 3.3 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Tuesday, April 15.
  - Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
