...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HOLT AND NORTH
CENTRAL WHEELER COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 546 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of O`Neill to 11 miles
southeast of Atkinson. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ewing, Chambers, Inman, Emmet, and Goose Lake State Wildlife
Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 299 and 306, and between mile
markers 318 and 321.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 156 and 182.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
