...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN PERKINS...SOUTHEASTERN
KEITH AND SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT/900 PM
MDT/...

At 927 PM CDT/827 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Wallace, or 24 miles east of Grant, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sutherland, Hershey, Wallace, Elsie, Sutherland Reservoir State
Recreation Area, Sarben, Grainton, Coker, O`Fallons, and Birdwood.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 148 and
170.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT/900
PM MDT/ for southwestern Nebraska. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also
remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT/1000 PM MDT/ for southwestern
Nebraska.
