...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 142 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Cody to 7 miles southwest
of Merriman. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cody, Merriman, Nenzel, Medicine Lake, Cody Lake, Eli, Anderson
Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 61 Crossing The
Niobrara River, and Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 129 and 173.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 208 and 231.
