310 AWUS83 KLBF 120336 RWSLBF NEZ004>010-022>029-035>038-056>059-069>071-094-121100- Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska National Weather Service North Platte NE 936 PM CST Tue Feb 11 2025 /836 PM MST Tue Feb 11 2025/ Today, persistent clouds and northeasterly winds meant a cold day across the region. High temperatures only managed to reach the single digits for essentially all locations in west central Nebraska. Snow began this afternoon and brought a few areas notable measurable snow, some seeing their yearly total more than double so far. For tonight, expect snow to continue for most locations south and east of the Sandhills. Snow accumulations may approach 4 inches in spots before snow tapers off by midday Wednesday. Lows tonight will fall near if not slightly below zero degrees. Factoring in the winds, and wind chills will settle into the negative teens. Folks necessary to be out early Wednesday morning should prepare to bundle up for the coming cold with colder temperatures likely Thursday morning.
