...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS FOR ALL
OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for low humidity and gusty winds, which is in
effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern Panhandle/Crescent
  Lake NWR and Fire Weather Zone 208 Niobrara Valley/Fort
  Niobrara NWR/Samuel R McKelvie National Forest.

* TIMING...In effect from noon until 9 PM CDT (11 AM to 8 PM MDT).

* WIND...South to southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30
  mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 16 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the lower to mid 70s.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
