precipitation for both North Platte and Valentine...

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature in January was
23.1 degrees which was 3.2 degrees below the normal of 26.3 degrees. The
average daily high temperature for the month was 38.2 degrees which
was 2.5 degrees below the normal of 40.4 degrees. The average daily
low temperature for January was 8.0 degrees which was 3.9 degrees
below the normal 11.9 degrees. No daily temperature records were set
during the month of January at North Platte.

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature in January was
19.0 degrees which was 5.5 degrees below the normal of 24.5 degrees. The
average daily high temperature for month was 32.0 degrees which was
5.8 degrees below the normal of 37.8 degrees. The average daily low
temperature for the month was 6.0 degrees which was 5.2 degrees
below the normal of 11.2 degrees. No temperature records were set
during the month of January in Valentine

At Lee Bird Field in North Platte, precipitation for January
totaled 0.28 inches which was 0.11 inches below the normal of 0.39
inches. Snowfall for the month totaled 2.0 inches which was 3.1
inches below the normal of 5.1 inches. No daily precipitation
or snowfall records were set during the month of January for North
Platte.
