...July 2025 saw slightly below normal temperatures and above normal
precipitation for North Platte and Valentine...

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature in July was
75.2 degrees which was 0.4 degrees below the normal of 75.6 degrees.
The average daily high temperature for the month was 87.8 degrees
which was 1.9 degrees below the normal of 89.7 degrees. The average
daily low temperature for July was 62.5 degrees which was 1.1
degrees above the normal 61.4 degrees. No daily temperature records
were set during the month of July at North Platte.

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature in July was
74.8 degrees which was 0.9 degrees below the normal of 75.7 degrees. The
average daily high temperature for month was 87.4 degrees which was
3.0 degrees below the normal of 90.4 degrees. The average daily low
temperature for the month was 62.2 degrees which was 1.2 degrees
above the normal of 61.0 degrees. One daily temperature record was
tied during the month of July at Valentine. On the 17th, the low
temperature was 47 degrees, tying the record of 47 degrees set
previously in 1906.

At Lee Bird Field in North Platte, precipitation for July
totaled 3.27 inches which was 0.09 inches above the normal of 3.18
inches. No daily precipitation records were set during the month
of July for North Platte.

At Miller Field in Valentine, precipitation for July totaled
3.88 inches which was 1.06 inches above the normal of 2.82 inches.
One daily precipitation record was set during the month of July
at Valentine. On the 20th, 1.50 inches of rain fell at Miller Field
breaking the record of 1.45 inches set previously in 1957.
