and Valentine. Precipitation for the month was below normal for North
Platte and above normal for Valentine...

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature in March was
45.1 degrees which was 5.5 degrees above the normal of 39.6 degrees.
March 2025 will go down as the 6th warmest March on record for North
Platte. The average daily high temperature for the month was 62.7 degrees
which was 7.5 degrees above the normal of 55.2 degrees. The average daily
low temperature for March was 27.5 degrees which was 3.6 degrees
above the normal 23.9 degrees. Three daily temperature records were
set in March 2025 at North Platte and are highlighted below:

average daily high temperature for month was 56.3 degrees which was
4.7 degrees above the normal of 51.6 degrees. The average daily low
temperature for the month was 26.4 degrees which was 2.9 degrees
above the normal of 23.5 degrees. No daily temperature records were
set during the month of March at Valentine.

At Lee Bird Field in North Platte, precipitation for March
totaled 0.30 inches which was 0.70 inches below the normal of 1.00
inches. Snowfall for the month totaled 0.5 inches which was 3.7

At Miller Field in Valentine, precipitation for March totaled

for Valentine. One daily precipitation record was set during the month
of March at Valentine. On the 6th, 0.65 inches of precipitation fell at
Miller Field, breaking the record of 0.56 inches set previously in 1917.
