This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible this
afternoon over the eastern Nebraska Panhandle. Minimum relative
humidity this afternoon will reach around 20 percent with wind gusts
up to 25 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible
Thursday afternoon across the area. Minimum relative humidity will
reach 15 to 25 percent with wind gusts of 25 to 35 MPH.

A storm system is expected to bring very strong winds to the area
Friday into Saturday. There will also be potential for snow and
blowing snow. At this time, confidence is high in the strong winds
but low regarding the potential for snow and blowing snow.
