This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon
and evening for much of the Sandhills into north central Nebraska.
Storms could become strong to severe with damaging winds and large
hail as the main concerns.

The combination of afternoon highs climbing into the mid and upper
90s and increased low-level humidity will push heat index values
into the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Chances for thunderstorms exist Sunday into Sunday evening with a
marginal risk for severe thunderstorms for all of western and north
central Nebraska. Thunderstorm chances continue Tuesday through
Friday of next week. The threat for severe weather is uncertain.
