This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A marginal (level 1 of 5) risk of severe storms are possible by mid-
afternoon lasting into the evening across much of western and north
central Nebraska. The main threat will be damaging winds, but hail
could also be possible.

Very warm temperatures return today with heat indices in the low 100s
across north central and portions of northern Nebraska. A Heat
Advisory has been issued for today from 1pm to 8pm CT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorms are possible Wednesday night through Saturday night
across the area. A slight (level 2 of 5) risk of severe storms are
possible for areas mainly east of US-83 from late afternoon into the
evening on Wednesday. Heavy rain, hail, and strong winds will be the
main threats. Beyond Wednesday night, the severe threat is
uncertain.
