This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated showers and general thunderstorms are possible this morning,
mainly east of Highway 83. No severe weather is expected.

Later this afternoon and evening, thunderstorms again become possible
particularly across western Nebraska. Storms may be strong to severe
with damaging winds the main concern though severe hail will also be
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorm chances continue Sunday and Monday for much of western
Nebraska. A few storms could become strong to severe each day with
large hail and damaging wind gusts the main concerns.

Additional rain and thunderstorms are possible each day Tuesday
through Friday. At this time, the threat for severe weather appears
low.

Above normal temperatures appear likely to return for the late half
of next week. Afternoon highs are likely to reach the upper 90s to
near 100F with the warmest values expected to be across southwest
Nebraska.
