At this time critical winds are next expected through this afternoon, however there is a slight chance that a broken line of showers/storms develop this evening and move east across west central Nebraska. If a storm impacts the fire, expect gusty erratic winds of up to 40 mph for a short while. Otherwise light winds will slowly increase this afternoon and turn to the south. Late evening, a weak frontal boundary moves into northern Nebraska which will cause a wind shift to northerly. Afternoon relative humidity will lower to near 20 percent and recovery overnight will be poor. Wetting rains are possible later this week. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny.
