.DISCUSSION...

A cold front has tracked into the central Sandhills this morning,
bringing mostly easterly winds to the Paxton area this morning.
Throughout the afternoon, winds will gradually shift from
easterly to southeasterly, generally remaining around 5 to 10 mph.
Highs this afternoon reach around 63 degrees, which is average
this time of year, with afternoon humidity dropping to around 25
percent. Overnight humidity recovery is expected to reach 80
percent.

Around 6 PM MDT today, winds ill be mostly south-southeasterly,
and begin to increase to around 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 17
mph. Winds gusts become slightly stronger around midnight, with
gusts up to 20 mph out of the south through the overnight hours.
Around 6 AM MDT, wind gusts are expected to settle for a few
hours, with 10 to 15 mph winds out of the south becoming westerly
by mid morning. By mid morning, wind gusts are expected to resume,
this time out of the west. Late morning winds into the afternoon
increase to 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.
