.DISCUSSION...

The threat for rain and thunderstorms has largely ended though
very isolated development remains possible over the next few
hours. Winds will largely remain unchanged through this evening
with only minor shifts to the northwest but steady wind speeds
through daybreak Thursday. The only appreciable change will be
gusts becoming slightly less frequent during the overnight. Low
temperatures tonight will fall to around 40 degrees but humidity
recovery should be good with 90 percent or greater max humidity
expected.

For Thursday, afternoon highs will be cooler only reaching the
middle 60s. North-northwest winds will remain strong with gusts
nearing 25 to perhaps as high as 30 mph. Late afternoon scattered
showers and general thunderstorms are possible but given isolated
coverage, confidence in seeing rain at any one location is low.
What appears probable though is gusty erratic winds in the
vicinity of any shower/thunderstorm activity that approaches the
immediate area.
