Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
311 AM CST Fri Nov 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire conditions continue today as temperatures remain
above normal with highs in the low to mid 60s. Humidity values
will drop into the 20 to 25 percent range across southwest
Nebraska. However, winds remain generally below 20 mph. Elevated
conditions return on Saturday as strong northwest winds gust up to
45 to 55 mph across portions of the Sandhills and eastern
Panhandle. Increased low level moisture along with precipitation
chances across northern Nebraska will keep afternoon RH values
above 25 percent across the region with cooler temperatures in the
mid 40s to low 50s.
