.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather conditions will become somewhat elevated across far
western Nebraska and the Panhandle this afternoon. Gusty south
winds will combine with temperatures in the 50s and humidity
levels in the 30-40% range.
Thursday will see lower humidity, as low as 17-20% across the
Sandhills with high temperatures in the 40s. West to northwest
winds occasionally may gust over 20 mph, leading to some increase
in fire weather concerns once again.
Friday into the weekend will see a lesser concern for fire weather
conditions. There will be off and on chances for light snow with
highs generally in the 30s to lower 40s.
