.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low through early next week.
Cooler temperatures will remain widespread for Friday with values
generally around 10F below normal. Temperatures moderate this
weekend with areas west of Highway 83 returning to near-normal but
cooler values holding firm over central and eastern Nebraska.
Precipitation chances will continue daily through Sunday but favor
western Nebraska and more specifically, areas west of Highway 83,
with localized wetting rains possible.
Next week, broad upper ridging will build across the central and
southern Rockies. This will allow afternoon temperatures to
rebound quickly and return to above normal values. Simultaneously,
precipitation chances will become more spotty. Though temperatures
will climb back into the 90s for most by Wednesday, low-level
moisture should keep humidity minimums safely above critical
levels for all locations outside the Nebraska Panhandle.
