.DISCUSSION...
Overall fire weather concerns will remain on the low side through
Friday. Relative humidity values do fall into the 20-25% range Thursday
across western Nebraska, but winds appear that they will remain in
check. A classic ridge break down occurs this weekend, and expect
strong southerly winds to develop. Very high moisture content is
expected in the mid and upper levels from the remnants of
hurricane Priscilla (currently southwest of Baja). It appears
that some of this moisture will actually mix all the way to the
surface, keeping relative humidity values above 40% for the most
part. Will continue to monitor the weekend for any changes, but as
for now concerns seem low.
