.DISCUSSION...
Two areas of elevated fire weather conditions are possible
Thursday afternoon across western and north central Nebraska. The
first area of concern is over the eastern Nebraska Panhandle where
minimum RH will fall off to 15 to 20 percent. Another area of
concern is generally east of a line from North Platte to
Valentine. Southerly winds in these areas may gust up to 35 MPH
during the afternoon hours. Beyond Thursday afternoon, fire
weather concerns will be fairly minimal across the area.
