Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
344 AM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns are expected to remain low throughout the
week. Recent rainfall has contributed to green up conditions
across the region. Additionally, relative humidity values remain
above 35 percent throughout the week across most of the region.
While fire weather concerns remain low, it is worth mentioning
that winds become quite gusty on Saturday night through Sunday
night as a cold front tracks through the region. Winds along and
behind the front are expected from the north-northwest, with gusts
up to 35 miles per hour.
