.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will generally remain in check today as
winds will be on the lighter side. Humidity though will be quite
low, falling below 20% in places to the west of Highway 83. Fire
weather concerns will become more elevated Saturday as winds will
be gusty from the west-northwest. Highs Saturday will top out in
the 60s with lowest humidity values of 23-33%, lowest across far
southwest Nebraska. Higher humidity and colder temperatures
arrive Sunday into the first of next week, which will limit any
fire weather conditions.
