.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low through Monday due to moderately
high humidity and seasonable temperatures. Thunderstorm chances
continue through Monday with potential for isolated to scattered
wetting rains.
Concerns increase for Tuesday through the end of the week as
ridging amplifies across the southwest U.S. and temperatures
climb. Daytime highs reach the upper 90s for Thursday and Friday.
This should support afternoon humidity falling below 30 percent,
especially across western Nebraska/Panhandle. Ridge breakdown
arrives by Friday as a surface front settles south into the area.
Expect cooling temperatures by late weekend with increasing rain
and thunderstorm chances into the following week.
