.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are expected to remain generally low over
the next few days, as increased moisture will keep afternoon
humidity in the 35 to 45 percent range. In addition, a threat for
scattered showers and thunderstorms exists nearly each day through
Thursday.
By late week and this weekend, a return to warmer and drier
conditions is expected. This could bring a return of elevated fire
weather conditions across western Nebraska, where humidity in the
upper teens to 20s is expected. This will also coincide with gusty
southerly winds both Sunday and Monday afternoon.
