.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain minimal over the next several days
across western and north central Nebraska. Winds will be the
strongest today with gusts in excess of 20 mph for most locations,
peaking near 35 mph across northern Nebraska. Minimum relative
humidity will be as low as 30 to 60 percent, precluding a serious
threat of Red Flag conditions. Light snow/flurries are expected
across northwest Nebraska this evening and tonight, little to no
accumulation expected. Additional chances for snow exist for the
middle of the week, though light amounts less than 1" are
anticipated. Mild temperatures Monday and Tuesday, falling into
the well-below normal range mid-week and beyond.
