.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will remain low for the remainder of the week
as low level moisture will keep humidity largely near or above 30
percent. There is a scattered chance of strong to severe
thunderstorms that look potentially be heavy rain producers across
north central into central Nebraska. Elevated to near critical fire
weather concerns will return over the weekend and into the early
part of next week as a ridge builds in. Highs on Sunday and Monday
will be in the upper 90s with min RH dropping to the upper teens to
low 20s. This will overlap with a widespread area of southerly wind
gusts up to 30 - 40 mph across the eastern Panhandle and Sandhills.
