.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns are expected to remain generally low over
the next week. Temperatures return to the upper 80s and 90s both
Sunday and Monday, with humidity values falling into the upper
teens to low 20s across the western Sandhills. However, winds are
expected to remain below 20 miles per hour from the south Sunday.
Winds do increase from the south Monday afternoon, with gusts of
25 to 30 miles per hour possible.

A cold front then approaches the area for midweek, bringing a
return of cooler temperatures and thunderstorms. These cooler
temperatures and increasing humidity will keep fire concerns low
into midweek.
